Since mid-2017, by order of the Civil Court of Casablanca, the sale of plots of a real estate project in the community of Casablanca, managed by the Chilean Association of Senate Officials (AFUSEN), has been paralyzed.

The precautionary measure, which prohibits entering into acts and contracts, was issued in the context of an action for recovery of ownership and possession brought by the company Inmobiliaria La Rivera de Pitama –part owner of the Pitama Estate– against AFUSEN and affects an area of approximately 30 hectares.

The judicial procedure in which the measure comes into play is currently pending before the Civil Court of Casablanca. Its resolution is expected in the second half of 2019.

Inmobiliaria La Rivera de Pitama, advised by BSVV, sued the Association of Senate Officials for the restitution of land that is part of the Pitama Estate in the community of Casablanca
