After successful administrative challenge, Fedir Chile wins public bidding for the Lautaro hospital casino
.SHAREBarros Silva Varela & Vigil advised Fedir Chile SpA in the bidding process and the awarding of the public bid for the provision of a complete food service for employees and the administration of the Lautaro hospital's casino, for a period of 2 years. The bid was awarded to Fedir Chile SpA.
The Servicio de Salud Araucanía Sur issued a resolution that considered Fedir Chile's bid as withdrawn, in response to which the company filed an appeal for reconsideration alleging the violation of several principles of administrative law, such as legality, typicality and strict adherence to the bidding conditions. The appeal was accepted, returning the procedure to the state of approval of the contract, thus allowing Fedir Chile SpA to start providing the food service in the terms originally determined by the bidding documents.
