Sebastián Barros has been appointed partner of Barros Silva Varela & Vigil Abogados and will lead the firm's Compliance practice. Sebastián holds a law degree from the Universidad de los Andes, a Diploma in Corporate Taxation from the same university, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University College of London and has over 14 years of experience in corporate matters. He joined BSVV in 2017 and with this appointment he becomes the 11th partner of the firm.

In this regard, Fernando Barros Vial, founding partner of the firm, said that ‘the incorporation of Sebastián as partner in charge of the Compliance area is a natural step and reaffirms the consolidation of the firm as a multi-service office.
