Sebastián heads the Compliance and Corporate practice at Barros Silva Varela & Vigil. He focuses his practice primarily on corporate governance, design and implementation of crime prevention programs (Law 20.393 and Law 19.913) with the purpose of mitigating risks for companies. He has extensive experience advising domestic and foreign companies and investment funds on contracts, financing, shareholders' agreements and general corporate practice, in areas as varied as finance, agriculture, shipping, energy and mining.
