Partner
Pilar leads the firm's tax practice and specialises in corporate reorganisations of both high net worth individuals and domestic and foreign companies doing business in Chile. Her advice includes consultancy on corporate tax matters, which involves accompanying the business from its creation, structure design and all the challenges presented at each stage.
Pilar has extensive experience in resolving tax disputes before the Chilean Internal Revenue Service and Tax and Customs Courts. She is also a member of the young arbitrators' corps of the Arbitration and Mediation Centre of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce.
She has been a lecturer in different undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and Universidad de Chile, where she is currently Professor of Tax Law, in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
