Claudia leads the Environmental Law and Public Procurement practice at Barros Silva Varela & Vigil. With more than 20 years of experience and a vast professional background in Regulatory Law and Administrative Litigation, she advises companies in matters of environmental impact assessment of projects and defences before State agencies; concession granting processes; reports on environmental institutions and regulation; participation in due diligence and advice on litigation matters related to her areas of practice. She also has a deep knowledge of the electricity industry and its regulatory framework, where she has participated in advising on the main energy projects in the country.
Claudia has worked for more than 10 years in public sector institutions and has been highlighted by Chambers and Partners for her practice in the Environmental area since 2012.
