On December 17, 2025, the National Cybersecurity Agency (ANCI), published in the Official Gazette the final list of companies and organizations qualified as OIV (Operators of Vital Importance), which will have to comply with a series of obligations established in Law 21,663 (Cybersecurity Framework Law), which are mainly related to the implementation and continuous maintenance of information security management systems, operational continuity and cybersecurity plans, certifications and periodic reviews, among others.

To adopt this decision, the ANCI submitted to public consultation a preliminary list of entities, which had the possibility of presenting defenses and thereby requesting their exclusion because the hypotheses and legal requirements were not configured in respect of them.

In this context, BSVV's public law and compliance teams, made up of lawyers, Felipe Riesco, Sebastián Barros, Esteban Carmona, Sebastián Stipo and Dominga Álamos, successfully advised some of the firm's clients, achieving their exclusion from the final list.

BSVV appreciates the trust placed by our customers in the process.
