Civil Court suspends effects of fine imposed by the Ministry of Transportation
.SHARECourt issued an order suspending collection of fine of UF 51,500 imposed by the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications against Sociedad Marítima y Comercial Somarco Limitada. The Civil Court ruled the complete suspension of the Ministry’s resolution.
This resolution constitutes a relevant precedent for the subsequent discussion that will take place before the Court with regard to the grounds under which the fine was imposed by the Ministry.
