Sebastián leads BSVV’s Compliance and Data Protection practice. His background is highlighted by a solid experience in providing legal advice to national and international companies in corporate matters, including the structuring of shareholders’ agreements and the drafting of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) agreements. His deep understanding of business dynamics allows him to approach legal challenges with a comprehensive and strategic vision. His practice focuses on the design and implementation of compliance programmes, crime prevention and data breach prevention models, internal investigations and legal risk mitigation, with a particular focus on anti-corruption.

José Manuel has a vast experience and recognition in the Chilean legal market. He has acted as counsel for multiple companies in antitrust matters, litigation and arbitration in the most diverse markets, including the dairy industry, salmon, energy, mining, construction and infrastructure, telecommunications, retail, consumer, medical supplies, supermarkets, cement and steel, among others. Rodrigo co-heads the firm’s M&A practice and has extensive experience in complex transactions, with a mainly international focus in a variety of areas such as manufacturing, mining, services, consumer, construction, sports, etc.

Pilar González Cofré

Pilar leads the firm’s tax practice and specialises in corporate reorganisations of both high net worth individuals and domestic and foreign companies doing business in Chile. Her advice includes consultancy on corporate tax matters, which involves accompanying the business from its creation, structure design and all the challenges presented at each stage.

Roberto Lewin heads the labour and employment practice at Barros Silva Varela & Vigil.
